Any advice on handling conflict better? Whenever I find myself in an argument, I get too emotional and lose the plot. Or if someone is obviously bullshitting me, I don't realize it till after the fact because I'm just taking and reacting to things at face value.

Obviously I'm not going to pick fights to get better at them. But what options are there?

Don't do anything to deserve any of these and you'll have none of these.

I don't. That's kind of the problem. I'm very conflict averse, to the point of looking the other way even when I know the other person is wrong. As a result, on the rare occasion I find myself in a disagreement with someone, I either fold because I'm spineless, or I get emotional and make an ass of myself.
