I don't think the age gap is a big issue and you should definitely try anyway. As far as having kids goes, you two should be discussing adoption, it is dangerous and difficult to have healthy children in your 40s.

Also, are you in a Muslim country by any chance. Those are the only places where I hear a lot of shame about dating older women. Which is funny because when I worked in Uzbekistan, like half of the young men I met confided in me that they were dating MILFs but couldn't tell their families

She sent me a like first on Hinge. At first she didn't seem like she was 41 probably closer to 36. So I just matched and started talking. I usually go on first dates with everyone.
