You told me not to spend 12k on webdev bootcamp. You gave me resources to teach myself.
What if I told you I am now considering community college programming courses?

I feel like you're paying way too much attention to us, frankly. Why not do what you want?

college won't teach you shit pretty much, however a piece of paper from an accredited university surely has more ""weight"" (recruiters only care about your skills and experience, you can ace all exams and that shit will hardly make any difference to them) than a certificate from a random pajeet bootcamp, on the flip side you will be forced to study a lot of stuff that you won't necessarely find useful or even interesting that still requires a significant time/effort commitment
even if you go to college you will have to do a lot of extracurricular work by yourself
I had to commute a total of 3.5 hours to university, in my case it was worth it I think but I forgot pretty much what life outside of studying/working means

instead of overthking this you should
>open job listings for desired positions
>make a list of the required skills/knowledge
>start to grind that shit (all the material you will ever need is pretty much free)

I'd say stop endlessly gathering resources and doing nothing.
