I met a girl on an online game, we talked and played games for a couple weeks, and then she tells me her age. She's 17 and im 23.

Just judging by her humor and personality i immediately assumed she was around my age and i was just really disheartened to find out otherwise. Even if she wasn't underage, i just have zero interest in age gaps.

I cut contact with her upon the age reveal, and she understood why. Im very bummed though, i havent connected with someone like that in a while. How cope?

How much of an age gap is too much? If you aren't bothered when women are older than you, I suggest you start shooting for older women. Mid 30s and older. You can get a lot of action this way.

Get your mid off it by letting a different mature women milk you every week.

You can reach out to your friend again after a year and it won't be weird. Online friends are rarely nearby, so you can just enjoy the company of a fellow adult you vibe with.

I won't read app-addled threads because they are totally delusional and OP deserves the inevitable frustrations and disappointments but he will never see it that way and will keep coming back here for some magic wand.

you're 23 and she's 17, you're virtually in the same age bracket you onions-brained retard
get back in touch with her immediately, apologize for being stupid and ask her out

Man if you connect to an highschooler you kinda need to grow up
I'm not even talking about the whole age thing zoomers go apeshit about, I'm talking about the pure fact you emotionally connected to someone who still complains about teacher giving too much homework

It's the 1 in her age that freaks you out. If she were 20 and you 26 you wouldn't be so scared

i mean i see where you're coming from, but i said that i "immediately assumed she was around my age" for a reason. I'm a grad student dude. We didn't really connect over anything besides our music tastes and the game we were playing

lol when did i say i was scared? i just don't like age gaps. i like when my partner's around the same age as me. I'd dislike 20 and 26 just as much, regardless if im the one who's 20 or 26
