I am a close friend with a coworker more than a year. We discuss bunch of private and work related stuff. Since this year she is single (as I am) after a long therm relationship ended badly.
About a month ago we had a group party among other coworkers and we started flirting, she asked unusual questions, smiled to me like never before. It was pleasant, but surprised me.
Since then we chat almost every day, have long hours of phone calls even after work. And we talk about topics much more private, like financials, relationships, fundamental values between loved ones.
We are definitely more than friends now, but somehow both of us are afraid to acknowledge it as it might damage our current relationship.
Is there any way to solve this dilemma and advance it to a spoken out romantic relationship? Should we take it slow and see what happens?
