It's a super based moth. They circle lights because they use the moon as a navigation source, and artificial lights confuse them. They are generally born from caterpillars/grubs, and many don't eat when in adult form, they only find a mate. Anons please correct if I'm wrong.

Trap it in a cup and let it outside. They are very docile and easy to trap with a cup.

I’ve only raised silkmoths so I only get two weeks with them as moths but they definitely have some personality. Some are more skittish, some let you handle them without any trouble and others tolerate it just for a few seconds. They have preferences about where they like to sit in the cage, stuff like that. Very cute
