Can anything be done to save the ocean? It's demoralising seeing sealife surrounded by plastic. I've tried to live ecofriendly but it's meaningless. I'm considering buying plastic produce recycled from fishing nets like snorkel masks, a knife, a beach towel etc. I would do more diving to capture more plastic waste but life commitments stop me from doing so. Is the ocean fucked? Will my grandchildren even know what a turtle is? Am i just being a faggot?

Majority of the trash appears to come from south east asia and south asia. Grim visuals after a typhoon and a wave of plastic bottles and shit goes into the sea.

I honestly believe that the only way to let nature heal at this point is complete human extinction. The majority of humanity is just too apathetic to pollution.
