Are these ravens or crows? They were super noisy outside, and I decided to feed them some old nuts, but they sort of just looked at me cracking them, one of the examined and grabbed the nut meat chunks, then just dropped it and left with the other raven shortly afterward. Lots of weird noises from them other then the typical “caw” too, like throat gurgles and neck feather puffing.

The nuts I had on hand were almonds, pecans and walnuts

just them trusting you enough to take walnuts directly from you is hard enough. When I tried to feed corvids in my area I had to throw whatever I wanted to feed them like 10 meters away from me and not look into their general direction until they would pick it up
