I hope reincarnation is real and i come back as a waterfowl, so probably them. There is nothing that sounds as liberating as being completely unabated by all domains of the earth; land, sea, and air.

Where I go running along a river, I can see all five types
>waterfowl
Lots of ducks and Canadian geese, sometimes hundreds at a time. I like watching the ducks fly because they maneuver like WWII fighter planes. I saw one about to take a landing into the water, then pull up and down an overbanked 180 turn and then come back and land.
>birds of prey
There's a pair of bald eagles that nest in a tree above the river every year, sometimes I can see eaglets
>songbirds
There are tree swallows that fly over the river and surrounding fields catching bugs
>shorebirds
Can often see herons walking in the shallow parts, or perched in trees above the water, or flying overhead. Saw one take a huge shit the other day.
>corvids
Lots of crows hang out by the river too
