I just found out there are snails that photosynthesize

Technically they eat algae and then integrate them into specialized organs and farm them in these flesh panels for their photosynthates

They are called leaf

They're pretty neat. There are many things that exhibit kleptoplasty, like Elysia crispata (pictured). I used to keep half a dozen in my reef tank to help control hair algae. They unfortunately don't live that long (a year at best) and they never reproduced in my tank.
