1: Some people dying can be considered amusing. They deserve it. I prefer the puppy in such cases
2: Disproportionate hilarity. The harm to a deserving individual is much less important than how cute I think the puppy is.
3: Lack of intent makes it funnier. If a serial child rapist got his jugular torn out by a cluelessly teething husky puppy i would laugh my ass off.
4: Moral imperative. It is our moral duty to pursue and celebrate the slaughter of the unclean and the purification of the motherland.

We already know dogs and cats eat their owners piece by piece after death, without a single show of remorse.
And we still consider puppies and kitten cute.
I don’t think “death” is even related to cuteness, because we already cutify venomous snakes and big cats, both responsible and STILL are responsible for tons of human death
Hell we even cutify actual evil if we want to. For example, in war hammer total war, they are lots of people cutifying soldier banners of chaos and orcs
