Please help me find a specific charity or at least one similar to it.
I read a post on the effective altruism subreddit that mentioned a specific charity but I can't find it. I want to donate to them https://www.reddit.com/r/EffectiveAltruism/comments/k7r29t/which_charity_or_org_can_save_the_most_animal/
I’m looking for the best place to donate some money, but my research isn’t turning up many good options. I’d like to choose a recipient that can save the highest number of lives for a given sum of money (say $1000). So far the 2 best options I have are rehoming rescued battery hens (~$20 each) or relocating bee hives (~$200 per hive of ~10,000 bees).
I see he deleted his account. He mentioned in the comments the name of the bee charity but not the chicken rehoming charity. Any ideas what that charity might be?
Alternatively is there just a charity which helps herbivorous birds or mammals where I can know my donation is personally making an impact similar to something like PLAN international adopt a child or against malaria foundation and the link they email you showing which nets your donations funded and where they're going in and what stage of production they're in? Is there an animal vegan charity like this which I know my donation will make an individual impact and me donating a couple hundred dollars or like a thousand dollars isn't like voting where individual voting in a presidential election makes no difference?
