I have a big husky mix dog who is still a puppy but hell on wheels and very destructive. Everyone in my family hates him. He likes to eat items, especially things that smell like food or people. He used to eat cords, the carpet, walls and ate a big piece of a loose wood board.

Last month he learned how to open door knobs, so since then we've been keeping doors locked. Three days ago my brother left his room door unlocked. He has a ton of plush toys, some almost as big or bigger than people, things like my little pony, pokemon, the zootopia bunny judy etc he fucks them and i believe has pissed and shit on them. I've walked past the doorway with the door open and smelt a strong human piss and shit smell. I find it very disgusting especially having to share a home and none of the items being washed ever. At some point the dog got in and shredded all of these items, to some degree. A lot of them were unrecognizable, like in pieces that he showed us or threw at us. He ate a lot of soft material and stuffed animal fluff. Threw up on the plushes and floor as well as peed and got diarrhea everywhere. He marked all over the room/toys that my brother was pissing in/fucking.

Before i got home, my brother came home, discovered the carnage and beat my dog bloody. I came home to the dog dragged out in the yard wailing, barely moving, still getting beat but it was winding down i think. Ended up with broken ribs, a broken leg and fractures in other legs too. Internal bleeding. Screaming match ensues, he tells me I'm lucky he didn't kill the fucking dog and that he wanted to, that I'm lucky that i came home. I beat my brother after this, broke his nose and probably a hand. our parents and sister came home during it. Almost called the cops, brother has been kicked out. I cant afford the vet bill, he wont pay it. Thinks hes in the right. He wants me to pay for a supposed 8k that these stuffed animals costs and for his treatment and missed work hours. My dog is clearly still in pain and not acting normal. Not healthy. Crying, diarrhea, stress peeing and puking. My family said i need to get rid of my dog. I dont want to, i know his behavior is bad but it wont be forever. They didnt make my sister get rid of her two worthless, aggresive, destructive siamese cats that chase people to shred them or grab your leg with both arms when you walk by and bite the shit out of your leg or feet. These cats wake all of us up all the time for food or by attacking us sleeping. I have tried two trainers for the dog with little success. I will try again if i have to.

I cannot afford to live on my own and don't know what to do. The destroyed stuff has been thrown out but the room not cleaned. My parents refuse. They paid a guy who was less than 19 years old to clean but he didnt even address the floor/mattress or walls and just took the stuffed animals that were destroyed.

My sister and i can smell it rotting from our rooms in the air vents. Puke, piss, diarrhea and a dusty smell.

if you can't afford the vet dont get a dog. If you need money to pay for vet bills get a loan

If you can't train your dog get rid of it. From what I can tell your whole family is averse to responsibility. As for your brother, if he is truly autistic, your parents need to keep a closer watch on him and not enable him. Again, responsibility. Hire a sitter or something.

I told my parents I'm going to sell it all and they said go ahead.
