I notice a decrease in june bug population and a prolonged season? is there something going on with them. can i do something to increase their pop, do i plant them, water them?

You must not walk at night. I've come home from many runs covered in them and woken with their dead bodies stuck to me several times even with my windows shut. I think they're doing alright here. If your region had a drought or wildfire it might have reduced the amount of grass their larva like to feed on.

grass ohh that explains some of it, ya socal beach by the nuclear plant. minimal fly insects the closer to residential
