I haven't had any problems before, but yesterday all of the sudden I had 2 hornets fly into my room, and 4 more banging on my window. Seen 2 more probing around my window today. Maybe they made a nest somewhere nearby, or are scouting for a spot. Is there something I can do keep them away? I live in a city, finding the nest is not really an option, but are there maybe some smells or something that could scare them away so that they fuck off from my window?

I usually get bunch of Hot Shot and spray around/on my house once a month during summer to ward away wasps and hornets.
