Almost got a serious car accident because of this fuckers...
How many thousands of years until they realized that running in front of a car is not a good idea?

Relative to their total population so few deer actually die to automobiles that there's not significant enough environmental pressure to make the deer change their behavior
The solution is to drive your car through the wilderness splattering as many deer as you can for the rest of your life.

At least ten.
Last time one cleared the road only to do a 180 and recross feet in front of me. Tryin to catch me slippin
I would think with those antlers they would have figured this out by now
The first run in I spun a 180 to miss and ended up in the tree line, a 2 inch sappling stopped me and pushed the whole back axle over so much, the new tire would not bolt on
That was such a bummer at 20 year young

If the car behind you hits you then it's their fault for tailgating.

Use your brake and slown down, the car behind you is responsible if there is a wreck and the last time someone hit me I got like 10k for a door crushed in. I never even fixed it.
All obstacles in the roadway are your responsibility to avoid. This is no different than if a toddler ran into the road, would you also make the excuse you couldn't brake?

The MO is
>>notice object
>>object is living.
>>life is unpredictable.
>>drive for conditions and slow down.

If you failed to notice the animal it's still your fault.

There isn't a single circumstance on this planet where you can blame a deer for you hitting it unless it just straight up ran your car while parked.

I'd sooner save the deer over you cause it isn't out there blaming you and probably would be more reasonable company.

Insurance is generally a pain in the dick to deal with. Unnecessary claims are avoided with the same fervor as unnecessary dental work.

Getting rear ended isn't an "unnecessary claim".
