>>935673073Since you want to get back on track here, let's talk about your beloved ICE raids.
You would like violent, undocumented, illegals/criminals to be removed from the country, yes? To be a criminal, you have to be determined as such, right? By law, that involves due process. If you remove due process and just remove the person, they are not a criminal; they are just deported. That means they can return, and there is nothing that anyone can do or say when they do come back. If they are put into a prison outside of the US to house them so they cannot leave those premises, that means that they are being unlawfully detained.
If they know who the criminals are, because they have legal cases no longer pending but finalized, it means that they are not undocumented. That was the plan, no?
The problem with what is happening is that no matter how people have entered the US, they are being taken by a militarized justice system in which has been turned into a Gestapo-like regime to abuse a power against people who have legally entered the system, and whom are legally going through the process to remain in a country away from the criminals and polotics in theirs that have pushed them to abandon their pervious lives and start over new; usually with nothing to start and nothing to fall back on.
The weaponization of a federal entity to forcefully round up people deemed unhuman is kind of what the world agreed was not an okay thing to do, and something that this country did, and has, tried to maintain as a moral standard for the last 80 years.
While yes, there are things that need to change, this is not the way to get what you want.
