>>935695589>Left wing politics is endless purges and purity tests. It didn't used to be that way. Basically when OWS happened the Central Banking Cartel astroturfed in all the socjus doublespeak. This put left-wingers in a terrible position because on one hand minority voices and opinions were a source of strength for the left wing and they often had valid, marginalized, viewpoints.
What do you do when the Central Banking Cartel can just print up a bunch of money as their callous whim, use it to pay diverse mouthpieces, and then have them come in and take over and shout down real agents of change? And when that worked so damn fucking well? What stops the Central Banking Cartel printing up yet more money and buying yet more diverse mouthpieces?
It's almost as if you give someone and endless money printing machine and the money printed by it is de facto legal tender? Why... shit, they can buy literally anything, anyone, at anytime. Or at least practically anyway.
Pretty soon, the average leftist was given to one hell of a sophie's choice:
a) Believe the conspiracy fact that there main vehicle for making leftist policy change had been completely damned and be resigned to whatever fate the repubs had for them.
b) Dig heels in, believe the conspiracy fact was "just a conspiracy," and fight the good fight against the republicans as if the astroturfing hadn't been completed.
The sad fact is that neither the dems, repubs, left, or right can actually make society genuinely better. The central problem has been since 1913 that the Federal Reserve drains the people of their spending power through inflation. Without getting rid of the debt-based monetary system, especially get rid of the Central Banking Cartel's ability to just print money at their whim?
... nothing matters. The money is so devalued at this point that compared to the late 1800s... we're trading around pennies and dimes in the forms of $50. and $20 denomination bills.
