Only a handful of governments around the world would actually mourn Israel. If anything, they should be relieved if Israel is destroyed, because all the blackmail would die along with it.

it is pretty similar in the sense that the gameplay is a lot more fluid, you can use melee, ranged (similar to a spell system) and you can switch between 2 characters (it does have multiple) at any time when it suits you
