He got super lucky, napoleon himself said Lady Luck carried him. On his boat ride to Egypt he got so lucky that the British fleet didn’t find him and sink his fleet.

OP I love you! Finally someone that appreciates Napoleon and how fucking insane he was and what he accomplished. Trust me, I've been thinking about this for a long time, and honestly, the only thing I can come up with, are two things: 1) He would literally carry his fellow soldiers across bridges, hills, plains, under direct gunfire, addressing them by name directly, and letting them know they would get home to their family, whom he also remembered and addressed by name, and 2) what I call some sort of "flow" state, or possession, or divine intervention. Some people, like Hitler, who couldn't be assassinated, despite multiple two digit attempts, still made it. There is something, either juju, voodoo, or faith, or something, that some people tap into. I call it the Conor McGregor effect. If you take enough coke, and believe something enough, and here is the key part, "Give yourself up" to achieve it and to align with that destiny, you will accomplish it. That's the only way I can conceptualize it. OP, you're fucking amazing. Hope you have a good rest of your day.
