>>935766838>The fucking brits from a century ago fucked the whole joint up.The idea that Britain created Israel is largely a myth. Maybe you could blame their incompetence, but Britain did not create Israel with intent.
Israel was literally born from a terrorist insurrection against the British because the British wouldn't agree to a Jewish supremacist state. Most of what we considered to be "terrorist tactics" today were pioneered by proto-israeli paramilitary groups (irgun, lehi etc) during their insurgency against the British. The British allowed Jews from anyone on earth to migrant to and live within Palestine. That's it. They didn't authorize the creation of a Jewish state, they resisted it. The Balfour declaration etc never authorized Israel, Israel just pretended that it did and their media influence means they get to write the history books.
The Palestine movement unironically shot themselves in the foot by trying to force an anti-British narrative here. This just pushes western countries further into the
>Israel is our natural ally!corner. If the Palestine movement had instead settled on a narrative where the British were the defenders of a free Palestine where Arabs and Jews were equals, and that Israel overthrew that order through a terrorist insurgency to establish a supremacist state, they would have a much easier time today.
It would've shut down all the
>but hamas uses terrorist tactics!stuff since everyone would be aware of Israel's terrorist origins, it would've shut down all the
>but they hate the west!stuff since the Palestinians would literally be on the side of the UK against an anti-western occupying force, it would curb the retardation of the archetypal california cringe leftist (irrespective of where in the world they are) who make the average westerner embarrassed to support Palestine etc. Allowing the western left's anti-British hysteria to influence the mythology was unironically a disaster for the Palestine movement.
