Dubs and funny image fren, but I see most rich people as being very confident, and happy.
some are miserable too. that is true, but I would argue they tend to be happier on average, but less understanding, and more given to distance themselves from things they don't agree with. they always seem to steer away from any controversy, on average, and that is a definite fault.
I think they fear losing their good standing with others and having their 'flow' interrupted which generates their money in the first place.

Oh, well I see what you mean now. I'd say that's not a consequence of being rich, though. That's an effect of their 'job'. What they do, the fact they whore themselves out, often feed into negative attention or sell-out to corporate faggotry makes them this way.
It's not the money, but the debased way they pursue money and fame that causes this pathetic nature.
I agree with you, but a man who did what he loved, stayed clam, happy and worked hard to earn his fortunes does not have the same issues is most cases.
