Flash is awesome and way easier to animate in than literally 99% of the bloated programs out there.

You just can't really run it anymore. I had a working version on Linux with Wine and it would just crash constantly.

I wish they would bring it back.

I miss Flash too and still use it in a personal capacity but 4chan is a publicly accessible website and using Flash on a publicly accessible website is like constantly leaving your home door open and just hoping no one walks in and steals things from you. Flash has not gotten any security updates since 2021 and even when it was it had security holes that hackers took advantage of. Just two months ago 4chan was down for nearly two weeks after getting hacked due to a malicious PDF uploaded here
