The art style is nice, but there's a lot of room for variation and styles that weren't possible until unnatural hair dye colors and innovative cuts were designed. Anime is often ahead of it's time on women's fashion both outside of the mainstream culture, and within mainstream culture. It wasn't common to see pink hair so often when this site started taking off.
