Do you think your personality would be different if you were born again with no memory? Like in a different place, a different country, and a different everything?
i'm just experiencing life all the time, who can say if the world even exists beyond my frame of reference. i thought about this in 8th grade once and felt really smart and my teacher even complimented me
>>935933467 my personality is my existence. i would be dead if i had a different personality

>>935933394 (OP) I don't think my personality would be the same. Maaaaaybe my core values would stay the same but Everything that makes me, ME. would be gone.

>>935933394 (OP) Everyone's personality is shaped by their upbringing, diet, and social values of that country. People are not at all very unique. Look at social media all women follow the same trends, the "west" is a basically the same personality traits for all.
>>935933394 (OP) >if the soul/frequency which defines you were to be interpreted again from another life/body, would you be the same? I would have the same tendencies and general presence. I also think we have some form of tether to our prior memories, even though they have long faded. Imagine a radio-body picking up the same broadcast station. It may sound different and be slightly more clear or distorted, but it's the same signal all the same.

>>935933394 (OP) Obviously. We are a mix of genetics and our environment + a sum of our memories. If you take the environment and memories out of the equation you're going to get a completely different person.

I'm the OP, and the only reason I ask is that my brother believes you’ll always be the same person, no matter what. It doesn't matter if you’re born in a different place or have a different personality as a kid sooner or later, you’re going to be the same person.
>>935939207 Your brother is stupid. If he nearly drowned as a child he will have a fear of water. Even subconscious. This is proven. That will be a personality trait for him.

>>935939207 i think environment and experience play a role but what defines you is something more what defines you is what remains after you are no longer in union with your body like stepping out of a car which no longer functions or looking into a house you owned from the outside as you begin to travel away from it for the last time
