I did this. Was friends with this mildly autistic, socially awkward geek girl who was several years younger than me. (Me in my late 20s, her just having turned 20 when we met.) Yupp, had a few times. My first FFM experiece was with my best friend and actual GF, and had sex with a few other friends, MMF-s and shits like that. Maybe 1 out of 250 times in life it works out and a great relationship comes out of it but the odds are this is a terrible idea. As the other anon said, both sides have to have developed the same feelings for each other and are just waiting in limbo for the other to act.
