My body is maybe permanently damaged and limits my ability to be intimate more than a couple times each month. More than that causes a constant aching pain that lasts for about 10 days. I'm in a long and agonizing struggle to slowly climb back up to where I was. I've been this way for almost 5 years.

My problem isn't that interesting but it sure has acquainted me with suffering. I would do chemotherapy again if it meant being free of this.

I'm considering dropping college and my desk job for trade school. I feel like a caged animal at my job, but finishing college is just going to give me a different one if I even get hired at all. Welding may or may not make as much money, but it's at least not a desk job. I could also take a shot at rewelding firearm kits and get the privilege to say I went to school and did something I love as a result. There was never anything for me at college.

IT which is retarded to study considering everyone agrees you really only need the certification for something entry level. The degree is really for the higher up jobs, but I just seem to be the plague to employers with the way they avoid me. I've never gotten a job without already knowing someone in. When it comes to college, it really feels like there's no reasoning to any decision I make because I just don't seem to have the drive and passion for a career I saw in others. I'm doing it to survive, but the thought of a trade that could also benefit my personal life sounds right.

I like it personally, but it has so many paths to go. Security, networking, etc. I recommend looking further into those, because that's generally the path you'll head down unless you just want to sit in Sys Admin roles and work up to senior or something.

Welding is easy as hell though, I won't lie. You could really learn it in a few months with the right teacher. You're better off seeing this through, and if you hate it, you still got a degree on your resume. I know dudes who were hired literally because they had a degree, even in a completely unrelated field

I thought of taking time off from work to weld at a community college and still finishing my degree online. I hate leaving things unfinished. For the first time in a while, I have enough money saved that I can live off for a while and give myself a chance to focus on learning.
