they didnt even have curfews or rationing at home. life for the average citizen was practically undisturbed while the war was ongoing. they were never bombed and only a small % of the population was on military duty even.
they fought germany and japan simultaneously on opposite ends of the globe and didnt even break a sweat.

the US produced more airplanes in may 1944 than japan did in 8 years.
the US even did 2 of the largest military operations in history (D-Day and saipan invasion) within the same month (june 44) again on opposite sides of the globe like it was no big deal.
the axis was always destined to lose, america wasnt even in total war mode and still outclassed everyone else by a wide margin. germany was only so successful in the early war because the allies were completely unprepared and lacked proper organization and leadership
