Pro-tip we don't. Americans are gullible, they live in a fantasy world thinking that somehow America is this big powerful nation that can defeat anyone - except farmers in Korea and Vietnam, and the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The reality is, while you live in your bubble, non-Americans are mostly living a good life with no fear of bankruptcy where you are scared to go even see a doctor in the US just in case you need to use that precious nearly single use insurance policy which costs insane amounts per month.
You also think your sugar laden food is somehow great, mom and pop stores are amazing - loved those places when I visited a few times, your fast food joints are just a cesspool of utter tripe, your soft drinks have no fruit juices in them, your bread is too sweet and bad and your premium steaks in Walmart or Wallgreen are scraps stuck in a machine to separate it from the bone stuck together with meat glue.
And you wonder why nobody wants to buy any goods from the US, even your clothing and other manufactured goods are not worth it even to Americans, because businesses over there buy cheap materials, build poorly and sell expensively. This is why smart Americans import buy because the quality is better and cheaper.
Sadly people like yourself think you know how the world works, but are constantly caught out showing your ignorance on those things. You probably still think tariffs are a tax on other countries, right? You probably think paying more = premium products/services, right?
That is what you are conditioned to think like, since the 80s when Reagan allowed corporations into politics they have filled your heads with this mush and you blindly believe it as if it is true.
It isn't. Reality everyone outside the US on average lives more comfortably than Americans who have to work longer hours to just make ends meet.
