He and his wife didn't know the area so as they looked for a new house to buy they went down the 55 until it ended at the ocean and one went left and the other right
Ended up buying a place in Corona Del Mar and a place Newport Beach since everything was so cheap
Today those properties are about $10 million, but they are the same comfy simple people from 50 years ago.
I will say, that area is still really nice, you just have to pay through the ass to be nigger-free
