Mussolini and Hitler both explicitly rejected socialism and leftist movements when they rose to power. Mussolini started as a socialist, but by the time he created fascism, he was actively cracking down on socialists, communists, and anyone on the left. And Hitler? He hated socialism so much, he was willing to imprison, kill, and suppress anyone even remotely left-wing, including socialists once he was in power.
As for your Nazi book-burning story, nice try, but the Nazis didn’t get that idea from the Bulgarian Liberal Party (which didn't even exist the way you’re describing it). They burned books to rid the country of ‘degenerate’ ideas that went against their vision of a pure Aryan race. It was part of their plan for total cultural control, not a copy-paste from some other country's actions.
Also, nice try linking leftists to fascism today. Modern leftists support things like equality and democratic freedoms, not violent authoritarianism.
