>>936172893>okay, but that doesn't mean shit other than they went into the groundapparently you still don't seem to understand
you need to educate yourself on this particular ordinance, then you are entitled to an opinion, however misplaced
let me see if i can dumb this down for you:
that there is a single hole where the GBU-5/B penetrated, means that all these bombs were delivered precisely where intended
that there is not 2 or 7 holes, means they all went in sequence into the same holes
that there is not multiple holes, and no massive explosive debris on the surface means these bombs exploded deep within the earth, each successively deeper having not had to penetrate where the previous one already penetrated
these bombs have extremely hardened shells
if one exploded at or anywhere near the surface, the 5,000 lbs of explosive material would leave a fucking crater the size of a several city blocks, at a minimum
because each went into the same hole, and there is no massive explosion around the surface means the first bomb went off hundreds of feet into the earth, and the second went deeper, etc., because had the first bomb detonated at say 50 feet in, not only would there be a crater on the surface but in addition the second one that followed in the same hole would detonate as soon as it reached the 50 foot depth of the first, thus making an even greater sized crater
thus, what you want to see for this type of bomb is exactly what the satellite image shows
you are simply dead wrong in wanting to see surface damage and in fact the lack thereof proves that these ultimately tens of thousands of pounds of explosive went off deep within the earth
they are designed to punch through rock
when they reach an open space after several hundred feet of penetration through rock, then and only then are they programmed to detonate
go learn some basics about bombs
then you get to have an opinion, not before
