I want to quit my job and give up on everything and move back in with my parents or just become homeless. I have never made so much money in my life but it’s all completely gone by payday with all the bills I have. I made nearly half what I did 6 years ago and I had way more money back then than now. I am barely scraping by and I’m tired of feeling like a slave with nothing to show for it. No gf no kids, what’s the fucking point man. Has anyone tried just simply giving up?

They’d probably be disappointed but oh well, not my fault everything costs than it did 6 years ago. My rent back then was 420 for a studio. It’s now 1250 for a 1bdr, and that’s just rent

Sounds exactly like me a few years ago, parents took me in after I walked from everything instead of going homeless. If you have a good relationship with your parents, and have been working the rest of your life anyway and not mooching, hopefully they’ll give you a break. Things are much better for me now after few years of recovering, I’m even working again.

>Be disappointed

Doubt it. I mean, you have a job, can take of yourself and sound like a well-adjusted man and can help with the bills. Having your own place is a nice thing, sure, but not at the sake of emotional well-being.

I’d have to quit my job to do that, they live like 90 minutes away from me, which I’m not totally against btw. I like my job just tired of feeling like a slave every day.
