Yeah, his hair-parting goes further and further back, showing his receding hairline. But he had a fairly good run until that. (And actually even after that... he looks worse compared to himself, not compared to average-Hans)

He might have tried covering up his forehead somewhat because of that. In the film Sieg Des Glaubens, from 1933, you could even see a couple of brief moments when he has an almost full forehead-covering fringe, yet still swept from the side. After 1933, Hitler usually didn't go so extreme with the forehead-covering as in the period between 1928-1933, but sometimes, he let his locks loose.
