>>936189307 (OP) Thanks OP, you just reminded me to turn on my window A/C to get my room down to 62 F in combination with my house's central air set at 70 :)
>>936189307 (OP) Stupidest post I've seen on /b/ in quite a while. I'm American, I'm 70 years old, and I've never met a day that I thought was too hot! Gimme 90 and humid any day over fucking winter!
>>936192936 Not to mention that the correct plural of 'fly' is 'flies'.

>>936189307 (OP) It depends on what the humidity is. 85 degrees Fahrenheit with 90% humidity, you're going to be sweating your ass off sitting down doing nothing. It's basically a sauna at that point. I still prefer that over dealing with snow, ice, and sleet in the winter.
>>936189307 (OP) It's 9 in the morning and already 33 degrees. The high for the day is 35. 37 if we get our usual afternoon storm. I'll be working outside all day. The heat won't break here until late October or early November. I'm drinking 10+ 17 Oz bottles of water daily. When I get off work it will look like I've been swimming in my clothes. Not my fault I've got central heat and air, and a window unit in my bedroom. Must be hard being a poorfag.
>>936189307 (OP) >Literally 85f in my bedroom, no aircon. you and your room probably smell like a goat's nutsack >>936190556 whereabouts? i used to live in Mineral County, i've thought occasionally about trying to find some land in the mountains outside of Vegas but patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter
I sleep at 21 °C precise, in the summer, using the aircon
because I always want to sleep with blankets
in winter it might even be 15°C, as I deliberately turn off the heater..
just use more blankets.. I dunno the weight of extra blankets make me sleep better, it's awesome

>>936189307 (OP) It's currently 08:30 But it's already hotter outside than it is in your room, by a few degrees. By 11-12 it's going to be hotter than your country has ever seen in it's history. Eat my ass.
>>936189307 (OP) Im in the midwest and the temp swings from 100+ in the summer to -20 in the winter. The house we keep at 62 in the winter to 74 in the summer.

Heat index is 110F+ in Massachusetts right now. It was 120F for a few hours yesterday. You have no idea what you're talking about. It's hard to breath outside right now even.
>>936199279 >52% >low humidity I'll grant you that it can get much worse than 52%. OP is hardly living in a swamp, but I wouldn't say it's low humidity either. 52% is still sticky and soupy when it gets hot enough.

>>936189307 (OP) >Why are americans so weak. Literally 85f in my bedroom, no aircon. Americans would be dropping like fly's in these conditions Humidity levels make a huge difference as well. Too humid or too dry, and it becomes ridiculously hard to live in it. I live in Florida. Current temperature in my area is 93F current humidity 61%, feels like temperature = 96F While you wouldn't want to take a run outside, the temperature is ok for my area. your bedrooms 85F really isn't anything that bad.
>>936189307 (OP) >Why are americans so weak. Literally 85f in my bedroom, no aircon. Americans would be dropping like fly's in these conditions Me again, I'm going to assume your UK. In Cardiff right now its 65 degrees with 80% humidity. The feels like temperature = 59, due to windspeeds and humidity.

>>936204122 >High humidity is worse. Sweat cant evaporate if the humidity is too high which means your body cant regulate its temperature. You've never lived in Arizona. Humidity so low your skin cracks and you get nose bleeds because your mucous membranes in your nose has dried out and cracked. I had to go there one summer for a business expo. I was like, Oh my god!. I could feel the air sucking the moisture off my body as fast as I could sweat.
>>936189307 (OP) As an American, I find your lack of intelligence fascinating.
I don't have air conditioning, the temperature in my house is a cozy 35c. The temperature in my bedroom about 38c. I am not sweating, and I am clothed.
There is a heatwave happening and I am no longer cold.
>>936205126 I've lived in many cold and hot places. I always prefer very hot. Cairo in July is very nice.

My Puerto Rican ex couldn't understand why I liked it so hot. She'd have a couple fans blowing on her in the bedroom and still sweating, and I'd be in the living room with no fan, just fine and dry as a bone in the sands of the Sahara.

>>936189307 (OP) American here, it's 100F (38C for britfags) and 108F on the heat index. Oh and humid as fuck. Shit is insta-sweat conditions. 85F is warm, borderline toasty.
But at least I can afford aircon, unlike europoors.
>>936193138 It not a real sauna until you hit triple digits outside baby! Fucking swamp shit outside.
