>>936191745>>936191743>>936191736>>936191719>>936191715the reactions to the tucker-putin interview by americans betrays how shallow and decrepit our countrymen are. if there is a way to justify a conflict, it would be in the way putin spelled it out to tucker. That being to explain the historical relationship between the two warring countries, as well as between those countries and the west, and lead into the modern politics and how/why the conflict broke out. However, since history is valued so little in america, and our nation is so young (especially if you subscribe to the idea of america's 'second birth' during WWII) americans not only did not understand putin's arguments, but found his meticulous explainations too tedious for their drug/glucose/lead addled minds.
history in america is not treated as a subject of virtue. i'll even compare it to germany's bundeswehr: it is a neglected and frowned-upon career and subject of conversation. when we get into conflicts we do it lightly, at a touch and want it over quickly, like changing the television channel after you get bored. there hasn't been any real historical animosity between america and those it makes war against since maybe the civil war.
tldr: americans could not understand putin's approach to historical justifications for the war in ukraine because americans do not care of for history, are too retarded or drug-addled or short attention spanned, and have not made war like russia is since perhaps the civil war.
