2026 world cup and maybe the 2028 Olympics are going to be a shit-show of athletes turned away at the airports, and not allowed to be in the country for events - there might be a few teams short-manned at games, because of the number held.

then there's going to be the footage of masked goons in full military tactical gear raiding training camps or dragging people out of trucks in the streets and "disappearing" them in front of athletes and tourists alike. Then there will be the random tourists getting kidnapped at gunpoint with no due process, and being detained in inhumane cages with nothing but a space blanket and a strip-search.
And we'll see people being searched and detained at airports because their friend posted something mocking trump on Facebook a week earlier.

And all the while the insane redhats cheer away claiming that the rest of the world "respects" America now.

this is why I'm surprised and confused that no one seems to care about this stuff. USA used to be the place people wanted to go, and now it's like we're basically closing our borders.

It's scary because like, why? Why are we acting so shifty all the sudden? Are we going to become like North Korea where people from other countries aren't really allowed to just come and visit anymore??? Does that mean we the people won't be able to ask for help if more horrible stuff starts happening?
