this shit looks like new york slice with a better crust. its gotta be all the parmesan cheese.
HAHA! I am shitting up the thread with LANDSCAPES! Which must be assumed to come from a realm that has furries on it in order to adhere to the threads topic!
the pizza I got earlier was not very good
it was even worse reheated
slipping and falling going up the steps for the second time today because I hurt my leg the first time, and dropping the pizza taking it over to the other oven probably didn't affect the taste, but it did make me sad, so I ate it anyway
not the best start to the night

>>936264714Did you quote the wrong person?
I'm in the middle of a heatwave. I spent some time mowing my yard this morning because I couldn't tolerate the sight of my overgrown grass anymore.
I was only able to get the area outside of my fenced-in backyard before I was drenched in sweat and ready to call it quits. Now I have to wake up early -- early for me -- again tomorrow and finish the yard.
personally, i like overgrown grass
I've mowed all that the neighbors can see from the road. But I can't let the grass in the back continue to grow or else it'll be a ponderous chore to try and cut it down. It'll likely take close to an hour to finish.
Then I'm looking at another (likely) busy day at work with my overnight relief person having already called in for tomorrow.
At least, after that's out of the way, I'm off on Friday.
imagine running 4 heat exchange machines at 61F each; 3 of which, are for rooms you are almost never in.
I'm at the point where I'd rather lose this war and not give a shit anymore, rather than fight it.
>>936264892I want to say that this reminds me of a location in a dream, but it's just grass, rocks, trees, and water.
Idyllic. But not exactly unique.

>>936265549I hate just going out of my fucking room these days because it's so cold out there.
imagine making the house so cold that you need blankets to doom scroll comfortably in the living room.

Awooo!
It will be full moon next month on the 9.
A sturgeon moon.
https://youtu.be/8De1_MJYy98
>>936268774How does it get a name like that?
>>936268808I dunno, I'm not a moonologist
>>936268808likely it occurs around the same period that sturgeon are most plentiful for catching
most of the 'moon names' are associated with seasonal harvest stuff in a given location
'flower moon' when first blooms occur in spring, etc
>>936268923I don't into fish. I would have thought all the fish stuff to be later in the year.
Bi furries: how do you feel about this scenario?
>>936268949some cultures prefer lunar calendar for a reason, a lot of living things seem to follow along somewhat with moon cycles, certain fish and insects especially
many old herbals dictate best times to gather certain herbs using lunar calendar. though largely considered to be superstition today, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if there is actually a useful correlation with levels of phytochemicals in the plants
i think that modern electrical lighting and stuff has somewhat lessened the conscious impact of lunar cycles on humans, but it can be quite noticeable with wildlife if you're way out in the country
a bit of extra light through the night can make a big difference for all the wild critters, things always seemed to be more active than during dark new moons
I used to go for night rides on the horses. It it pretty amazing how much light a full moon gives compared to new moon, even in fairly dense trees.
>>936269365I'm fairly certain you were trying to talk about the difference between a full moon which is the entire face of the Moon beaming light from the sun on to you, and perhaps a partial moon in which only that partial amount is sending light on you, I don't believe you meant to say New Moon which is a moon in which the face was reflecting no light on you. Because of course the difference between almost complete darkness and a full moon lit night is going to be really not so amazing given that it's no light and some light. But I just want to point out, I think you made a mistake there, and I just wondered if you really are a retard and said what you meant to say, or are you intelligent and you meant to say something else?
>>936270063moreover the new moon is always below horizon at night
>>936270063Your interpretation of relative light output of a full moon, new moon and partial moon are correct.
And I did say what I meant. I could have said no moon, but I did mean new moon.
I did not think I would need to describe the exact amount of reflectivity.
