It’s incredible how this is the norm in Germany. I had a German ex who told me about it when we went to a spa outside of Germany for the first time. Well with those spas there’s probably a half half between male and female. That’s better than most beaches, where it’s usually 55-65% male.

There are obviously a few Middle Aged and older ladies, as is the case with any naturist setting. But yeah, there are certainly younger girls too. But it’s a cross section of society. I always say, if you want to know what type of people you will see in a nudist setting, just go out into the street and imagine flipping switch that makes everyone naked. What will you get… some old, some young. Some fat, some thin, men, women, kids.. anything and everything.

The younger ladies at these spas could be seen as divided into two groups. The ones that seem very reserved and keep to themselves or their groups. And then there’s the ones that are a lot more confident and will make small talk with you or clearly not care about showing parts of their body off. Vabali in Berlin is a favourite of mine. Nice spa anyway regardless of the nudity. But yeah, literally any spa that’s near you will probably be decent - especially from the FKK perspective.

As for non-spas, Tiergarten in Berlin just south of the Siegesäule and a section of the Englischer Garten in Munich are nice spots if you want the novelty of getting naked and seeing naked people in the middle of a city park. Nice beach spots include the Teufelsee and Muggelsee in Berlin, the Flaucher in Munich and the FKK strand in Rostock on the Baltic Sea.

Reposting my experiences with forced nudity from last thread.

1.I used to take swimming lessons in a public pool when I was in middle school. Usually we would have to put our clothes and backpacks in lockers inside the changing rooms. The lockers were old and sometimes there were issues like some not closing or taking a bit of effort to open them. Austria, Switzerland, the BeNeLux and Scandinavia have more or less the same culture as Germany in this respect. So what goes for Germany, goes for there too. Most beaches, the availability of specific FKK beaches and spots, spas and saunas are all available there. I should point out, public nudity is totally legal there as long as it’s not used to cause offence. This means that if you find a quiet spot by a beach or in a forest, no one’s gonna kick up a fuss if you go naked if they do stumble across you.

I’m originally from Switzerland and my favourite nudist spot there is the nudist part of the Sense river near Bern. Beautiful naturally, and you can wander the Swiss landscape nude. There’s also the FKK part of the Werdinsel in Zürich, the Chollermüli near Zug and the Plage de la Petite Amérique near Yverdon-les-Bains on Lake Neuchâtel. Honestly though, just finding an empty private spot on some of the beautiful lakes is a personal favourite to just relax and swim naked. But if you want company than the ones I’ve mentioned are good for there.

Italy is a little more conservative, so you should check for an actual marked nude beach near to you, but there’s bound to be one. Going further east, there’s an an absolute abundance of nudist spots on the Adriatic along the coasts of Slovenia and Croatia. Greece too is famous for it and obviously has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

I was actually in Luxembourg yesterday, and because the weather was nice I tried a nude beach I hadn’t been to before. Plage de Burfelt on the Sûre river. You wouldn’t expect much nudist places in such a small country, and apparently this beach is one of the only ones. Beautiful scenery and clear water, with decent crowd but not busy. Would recommend.

Generally the rule in Europe is that you can be naked almost anywhere, so in my books, private beaches/spots means nude beaches/spots. But you will generally never be too far from somewhere…

Yeah, that’s basically near to where I’m talking about. The lawns between the Fasaneriealle and Hofjägeralle just south of the Siegesäule usually have naked sunbathers on sunny days. Arguably you will find the odd nude sunbather around most parks in Berlin, but that’s a hot spot. Teufelsee has the best crowd, but it’s very mixed… so you can be naked amongst many textiles. For some people, that’s a good thing, but for others it’s not. Müggelsee is great because not only is it free unlike the textile beach, but the 61 tram stops right outside the entrance and it’s a dedicated FKK beach, which means everyone there will be nude. On a similar note, I'll reshare my experience with enforced nudity growing up from the last thread too. In case anyone has any questions.

My mother was raised nudist as her parents were very hippie-ish in the 60s. She carried a much more blasé attitude to nudity to our upbringing but we weren’t full-on nudist. My dad wasn’t from that background, so although nudity was more normal than other families it was not an everyday thing.

My folks saw clothes as a privilege that could be taken away. They always said they bought them so they could take them back. I think my mother saw that we weren’t as accepting of nudist things as she was and so saw it as an appropriate punishment. It didn’t happen too often and only happened a couple of times to my two brothers and sister. I acted up a bit so they took mine away a few times.

They once took my clothes away for a week when I was 11 or 12 because I broke my dad’s favourite tree climbing on it. That one was tough as because it was summer so they decided to take my clothing privileges away for so long. Super humiliating after the youthful confidence wears off, especially when seen by other people.

I should point out they kept up the punishments when people came over and this time the punishment was only shortened because we got invited to some family friends house and they didn’t wanna drive me a few hours away in the nude (plus explain to these friends)…

This whole thing started because like most kids, when we were much younger we went naked to swim in the local lake. We slowly became aware of our nudity by age 5 or 6, but our mother refused to buy us bathing suits. So I remember being forced to go naked around people was those trips to the lake before my parents finally bought us suits.

Our cousins all wore suits of course but those situations were less embarrassing than punishments. Being the only one naked felt very awkward at times, especially when you’re forced to hang out with people your age you don’t see often.

Yeah plenty of times. My friends and I got used to them coming over when I or my siblings were being punished. A few years into this they almost stopped caring. so playing football in the garden or PS1 with them while naked was not that abnormal for me or my brother. Well Spain like most places in Europe it is legal to be naked in public. It is also explicitly legal to be nude on any beach in the country, but just because its legally acceptable, doesn’t mean its always socially acceptable. Very very busy and touristy beaches (which are awful anyway) you may find some problems as there are just more potential people to get offended. This is why there will be many cases of going to a random beach in Spain and still seeing some nude people if its quiet, even if it isn’t a clearly delineated beach.
