the reality:
Pride marches are there to remind people that they're not going to hide in the shadows and be killed for existing. - remember, there are countries where you can be legally killed by the state for existing as a gay person.
the only true part of that list is the "we just want acceptance". Get that, and there would be no need for pride marches.
Demand the right to have the same equal rights for work, housing, etc. - remember, despite the 1964 civil rights act, in 15 states you can be dismissed from work or evicted solely for being gay with no legal protection.
Demand equality in legal marriage and inheritance. Without those rights, a lesbian wife can be legally turned away from being beside their life partner's deathbed in hospital. without those rights, other family who a gay guy cut out of their life for their entire life after being disowned as a teenage, can claim that the man who's lived with their partner for 10, 20, 50 years, doesnt have the right to inherit a penny, and they should be allowed to take the dead person's wealth, pensions, etc.
To not be persecuted by hateful fucks who wish to see their deaths. who revel in accusing them of all being pedophiles, who seek to strip their human rights.
It has absolutely nothing to do with "drag queens" and "trans women" and "necrophilia" like that idiotic pic. They just use these as emotive subjects to get people riled up and to react in indignant rage, so they can use them as useful idiots to further their bigotry.
