Why shouldn't more people live a hedonistic lifestyle then kill themselves once they hit 24? You get to have all the fun in the world without worrying about consequences and still preserve your youth. There's no downsides to this.

Because when you reach 24 you won't want to stop. No one would feel "fairs fair off I go to the suicide booth" when their daily life is being sucked off whenever, eating the finest foods and drugs/booze galore.
If you got that lifestyle you would never be sated.
