Christian Universalism doesn’t believe God’s love failed—it believes it’s still unfolding. That every soul, no matter how lost, will one day be found. That justice without mercy isn’t divine, and that hell—if it exists—isn’t a final destination, but a refining fire. A way back.
Maybe the pain and brokenness we see aren’t signs that the Creator abandoned the world… but that the story isn’t over yet.
We were made for joy. Not a shallow, fragile kind, but one that survives death, failure, and even despair. One that draws everything back to love in the end.
I’m not saying that’s easy to believe. Just that I’d rather live as if it’s true—and help bring it about—than surrender to the idea that this mess is all we’ll ever be.
