Maybe it is the poor ones I grew up around but although they can be hot, they get fat quick and stay fat for the rest of their life. The older generation literally don't believe in exercise, they have 4 kids and call it a wrap, being 300 pounds for life it is.

Grew up in a ghetto neighborhood filled with Hispanic people. One thing I'll say is that when I hit ~17 quite a few Latinas I knew started to want me. Overall their men are stubborn, loud, choose violence as a first response, and play up the machismo aspects of their culture. I'm the complete opposite and I suppose Latina women want that, some peace and quiet. Seriously out of all the women I know and dated, none of them have been as supportive of my nerdy hobbies as Latinas.

Also, you can counter the "feisty" and "crazy" stereotypes by just being understanding and calm. Whenever my girlfriend started yelling, I'd try to see things from her perspective and speak on that. For most Latinas they grew up where screaming was the only way to get heard so it naturally carries over into adulthood. If you don't play by that game they malfunction and realize what they're doing.
