HoS player here.
The character is still unknown what he does in game, so I can't really say much on that. Daemonettes are always great. The Hellstriders however, honestly are very lackluster.
Compared to Seekers, now they are 10pts cheaper, and Battleline in Slaanesh armies, other then that, you're dropping 10pts for -1Atk on every rider, you're losing the ability to run 2D6 and still charge, you're losing 4 Bravery ( although their banner adds 2, so -2 if he's alive ), you're losing the ability to resurrect models on morale tests of 1. If you take the Hellscourge for 3" range, you're losing Rend 1 for it. You do however go up to Save 4 vs 5. Honestly the only reason I could imagine taking them is if you REALLY wanted a Mortals only army ( because even riding Seekers, they are mortals, not daemons ). Beyond that, I honestly can't see any reason to take them,r for equal pts you can get 10 Nettes, 10pts more gets you Seekers, or hell, for 20pts cheaper you can just take Chaos Warriors. So honestly I can't really think of a to take them, if you really want Mounted mortal Slaanesh units, Maurader Horsemen are 20pts cheaper and, have range attacks that they can retreat and shoot/charge with.
