What is the deal with safe spaces anyway? I've attended three colleges on four campuses and I don't remember a dedicated safe space where you were protected from ideas you don't like. They did have carrels in the library with locking doors so you could study in peace without distractions though, so theoretically you could read books in there that you agree with, but there was still the possibility one of them could still have a challenging idea somewhere no matter how gay the books you read were.

We had freedom of speech, hate preachers would come by a couple times a month with giant signs and hang out in the plaza and yell at everyone that they were all going to hell.
