Fugu can be farmed without the bacteria that makes it poisonous. There's a similar puffer fish around Florida and the Caribbean, the checkered puffer, the pattern on the back looks like a clown with broccoli hair wearing sunglasses. They make the same neurotoxin and it's not difficult to eat them safely but most aren't very big. They're like if a fish was made out of chicken.
