At the end of the day, the majority of the global youth are liberal. They believe in liberal values. They have progressive views on everything. They’re the most secular generation in history. They speak English, consume American media, reject the norms of the elder generations, spread all their ideals on the internet instantaneously, invent new categories of identity for themselves instead of adhering to grandiose religions and ideologies, etc. All current-day politics is based on the fact that the people in charge are aware that this generation will inherit the world and keep the mantle of global liberalism alive. That’s why they’re acting so aggressively. It’s now or never. Once Trump and his generation die, it’s game over and the world resumes its trajectory toward a global cosmopolitan oasis. Nationalism will perish, borders will be less visible, the races will mix, you know all of this already.
