>>936609016 (OP)I’m in the UK and I’ve literally had a new arsehole appear. Called a fistula and can apparently just happen sometimes. Uncomfortable and has a tendency to spit puss as well as the usual stuff.
Noticed it in 2018. Went to several different incompetent doctors who not only misdiagnosed it, but invited several student doctors to look at it. Humiliating. I got all sorts of remedies from suppositories to “just take more baths”. After doing what they tell you not to do and researching it myself, I found a doctor to agree with my diagnosis and organise surgery. I waited months. Come the day I was asked very personal questions by the nurses who had access to my medical record. She could see I’d been on antidepressants and had treatment for STDs in the past, and shamed me about all of it.
Then the surgery and whoops! Isn’t a definitive fix. Sorry, did we not mention that? No. This is just to drain the wound. The fix comes later.
I had a bit of string put in that threads through my new arsehole, through my original arsehole and ties in a tight loop. The puss increased ten fold. Oh, and turns out they don’t have the right equipment to carry out the fix surgery yet. But should have it in no time at all!
That was 2022. I’ve had this string up my arse since then and there’s still no glimmer of hope for this equipment they need to materialise.
In short, universal healthcare fucking sucks. I hope my humiliating experience has at least made a few /b/tards smile.
