>>936655033 (OP)>>936657239A couple of things. First off: no reputable source claims that every single one of the 6 million jews was incinerated. While many jews were incinerated making exact counts of their dead hard to ascertain there have been multiple independent investigations into the holocaust that show that yes, the number of jews systematically who died during world war two was around 6 million. Only a small portion of that 6 million were incinerated.
Far more were worked to death, or simply starved or died of exposure in inhumane conditions.
And yes, far more people than just jews were killed in WW2 but that number includes soldiers and civilians from all sides. The reason why we tend to focus on the Jews were that the Nazi government had systematically targeted them for years first to dehumanize them through propaganda, followed by segregation into work camps, followed by brutality in those work camps, followed by extermination.
We have survivors of those camps alive today. We have contemporary reports, interviews with both the people who were sent to die there and with the people sent to oversee these camps. We have testimony from the leadership that this was exactly what they were attempting to do.
There have been hundreds if not thousands of books, reports, interviews, international coalitions, all trying to figure out exactly what happened, how, and why because the end results when these camps were liberated at the end of the war were so horrific that it was the sort of tragedy no one should ever want to see again.
Its one of the chief reasons Israel is getting so much international hate right now because we can all see that what they've been doing to Palestine is right in line with what happened to their ancestors.
The holocaust happened. And it should never happen again regardless of who its happening to.
