Yeah. Finished dmc 1 & 2, i did not find a fix for dmc3 audio desyncs. From 60fps goes down to 10fps and audio would desync. Happens during a cutscene, never goes away returning to gameplay.

This is because those games have entire game speed tied to framerate. On PS2 PAL versions are running in literal slow motion due to 50hz cap because Capcom didnt bothered to adjust the engine logic so game would handle fps drops differently. Majority of PS2 Capcom games on did that shit due to some middleware their teams were using. You lose fps so everything gets desynced similarly to when games have physics tied to framerate but old PS2 Capcom games had entire game speed and logic tied to fps. Euros literally played Capcom titles in slomo lmao. You need to have 60fps at all times no matter what in those games for optimal experience.

Wilds? Im talking about PS2 titles anon. Wilds runs like ass because RE Engine has massive issues with asset streaming within open areas the engine wasnt designed for open spaces. This is why both DD2 and Wilds are so CPU bound and allocate so much VRAM by default. Thats why linear RE Engine games run like butter while any project with more open design makes it shit itself when it comes to performance. Capcom openly acknowledged this issue and are working on modified Re Engine called REX(Re Engine NEXT) with focus on open world performance. Wilds will probably never get fixed and its performance will remain ass unlike Worlds that used MT Framework that allowed them to fix shit properly. I cant wait to see Bandai Namcos new engine they work on for years now because Bamcos management wanted their own Re Engine. Japanese devs still utilize own internal tech while western studios move to Shitreal.

Nah. Its an engine issue. They did some bandaid tier fixes but i doubt that game will run better because as I said its issue with games engine. Unless they will be able to retrofit modifications from REX to older titles which I doubt DD2s performance wont get fixed. Im pretty sure even if they could they wouldnt do so unless theres expansion in works and they plan to support it long term. Wilds might get a rework down the line due to it being live service title thats supposed to last for years but I think DD2 will remain fucked. You need to upgrade CPU if you dont want massive fps drops within cities/hubs.
